Ingredients:

Chicken, Pineapple, Spinach, Coconut Sugar, Red Bell Pepper, Seasoning (Garam Masala, Spices, Curry Powder), Onions, Celery, Sea Salt.

How to Prepare:

  1. Open pouch at tear notch. Remove oxygen absorber from pouch and discard.
  2. Reseal pouch. Invert package and shake to distribute seasonings which may have settled to bottom of package.
  3. Expand bottom of pouch so package stands up on its own.
  4. Carefully pour 1¼ to 1¾ cups hot water directly into pouch. Cold water can be used if heated water is not an option.
  5. Stir thoroughly and close zipper. Let stand for 10-12 minutes adding an additional minute for every 1,000 feet of elevation gain above 5,000 feet. Rehydration times will vary depending on quantity and temperature of water.
  6. Stir again and serve. The top of the pouch can be cut or torn off to eat directly from the pouch.
  7. If cooking on stove, add water to pan, bring to boil, remove from heat, remove oxygen absorber and add pouch contents, stir, and cover for recommended time. Stir again and serve.
  8. Please respect the environment and discard your trash in an appropriate way.

    We tried the meals and were really impressed. They are fantastic. We loved the copious (and large) chunks of meat! We were also impressed with how fresh and clean tasting they were and how they didn’t feel “heavy” or goopy like your typically freeze dried meals. My favourite was the chicken curry, but Naomi’s was the Beef Chili. All of them were delicious. — Paul O

    I have Celiac Disease and become sick very easily. I always make my own meals for this reason. Therefore, travel has always been very difficult for me. I found Paleo Meals to Go prior to two business trips I took in the last month. I packed the meals in my suitcase for each trip. The Canyon Chicken Chili and Caldera Chicken Curry are excellent. I traveled safely and ate well! I also appreciate the fact that these meals only contain a modest amount of sodium. I do not like for my meals to be too salty.     Really excellent curry flavor and the perfect blend of chicken and veggies. Like other reviewers have said, I too appreciate that these meals are dedicated gluten free as I have celiac disease. I take these with me on business trips as they make “grabbing lunch” as easy as just heating up some water!

    It was really awesome to have a curry meal on my trips. I am an avid outdoorsman, having healthy and delicious meals for an extended period of time is incredibly important. I survived for 3 weeks in the Alaskan wilderness on a variety of the PMTG entrées, breakfast, and snacks. I purchased a few of the chicken curry options and wish I would have bought more. Really incredible.

    This meal is my favorite out of all the Paleo meals I have tried! The pineapple adds awesome flavor and freshness that doesn’t always make it in meals eaten on the trail. The portion of the meal is also spot-on, and sometimes I even have leftovers. I will definitely be using Paleo for future backpacking trips!

    39 grams of protein packed into 310 calories! I have a very heavy preference on seasoning so I added extra curry powder and garlic to have the taste of perfection. Loved the chicken texture as well. These meals are perfect for backpacking and thru hiking since there are no dishes post-meal and they weigh next to nothing!
